#Does note 4 have adreno 530 android#
Even Qualcomm realized this and make 2 variants of SD65x SD650 for mid-range Android and SD652 for upper-mid range Android.Īs it is now, Helio X20 in Redmi note 4 will only gain "slight"performance advantage, thanks to their "extra" 4core A53 low-clocked and also gain "slight" GPU advantage over Adreno 510, thanks to the new Mali T880.
#Does note 4 have adreno 530 series#
Helio X20, as MediaTek's ultimate SoC series SHOULD have given 4core of Cortex A72 high-clocked, 4core A53 medium-clocked, and 2core A53 low-clocked for maintaining background process and battery saver. The thing is, choosing Cortex A72 as the main selling point is ok, BUT MediaTek really miss the opportunity to ride the momentum of their "victory" over Qualcomm SoC in 2015 (MT6752 wins over SD615, MT6795 Helio X10 performs more stable than SD810, even the low cost MT6732 performs better than SD4xx series).
moreNope, the state-of-the-art SoC architecture by ARM is Cortex A73.Ĭortex A72 is 2015 best SoC architecture from ARM. This is the reason why they slash the price, it's a marketing strategy and doesn't make Redmi note 3 a bad phone.Īnonymous, Cortex a72 in itself is the currently the best architecture by arm.
Isn't it logical enough to understand that, bringing in a new predecessor and selling it at the exact price is as the old one would be stupid? No one would be willing to buy the old one for the exact price as the new one. As for the price, it is no surprise to see price drop as this happens with all other brands in order to do so ,they need to cut down on price of the older phone so that they can be replaced by the new one(after making enough bucks) which was being sold at the same price last year. Runs on Android Marshmallow themed with miui8. Slight increased in battery capacity 4100mah over 4000. And yeah, there are changes made like the speaker grills has now moved to the bottom unlike redmi note 3's with its speaker on the back. There's no denying that snapdragon jumped right back in track with snapdragon 650 and 652 making it currently the best soc for mid range. Mediatek's should've went for kyro cores instead of fiddling with cortex. The SD 810 was no doubt a fail but that's nothing compared to meditek's failure to produce better chips either. You're right about mtk 6752 performing better over sd615 but you cannot ignore the fact that both of these SOCs had heating issue which brings it to the conclusion that although neither of these two can be considered stable, the SD 615 was more consistent in its performance. Mali is just not as stable(not there yet) as adrenos there's a slight caution while going for a Mali GPU but you can be rest assured with adreno's performance.
While Mali is good and handles most of the tasks well, the adreno on the other hand just does it better. Comparing adreno with Mali is quite sceptical of you. Cortex a73 is good but honestly I haven't heard of it since it's not yet being implemented YET!! SO that ultimately makes cortex a72 the present best, period. moreThe fact that you've said too much without actually believing in it is really cool of you to be undeterred by facts. AnonD-564674, Nope, the state-of-the-art SoC architecture by ARM is Cortex A73.Ĭortex A72 is 2015 best So.
